Inside LYKOS: Crafting Gaming Hardware You Can Be Proud Of
Nov 27, 2025 - 7 min read

LYKOS did not begin as a typical gaming company. Before we ever designed hardware for players, our team spent years engineering high-performance carbon race bikes. In that world, weight, stiffness and precision are not marketing terms. They decide performance. The knowledge we built there formed the foundation for everything we later brought into gaming.
Most of us grew up with two passions: competitive games and advanced engineering. We understood both the mechanics of fast aim and the mechanics of carbon layups. The industry was chasing mass production and cosmetic refreshes; we wanted a Swiss manufacture that built gaming tools like high-end sports equipment.
Our manufacture in Zurich is small on purpose. Every mouse is made to order: carbon shells cut, cured, trimmed, and polished by hand; aluminium buttons matched for feel; shells weighed and glide-tested before they ship.
Carbon and aluminium let us hit 39 g without hollowing the shell or dropping buttons. Stiffness stays high, sensor alignment stays locked, and you still get the inputs you actually use.
Quality control is obsessive: edge tolerance around 0.2 mm, weight variance under 0.5 g, and switch pairs checked for consistent actuation. If a unit misses a target, we stop and redo it.
Customization lives in the same room—engraving, final wipe, pack-out—so your mouse carries the same finish standard end to end.
We are a team of gamers, engineers, and perfectionists who build for people who feel every gram. The mission is simple: hardware you can be proud of, crafted in a Swiss manufacture, with no compromises.
